Yvonne Elaine Mitchell Mitchell Scott

Yvonne Elaine Mitchell Scott, age 67, of Noblesville, IN died October 9, 2013 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born July 20, 1946 at Noblesville to Ralph William and Eula Mae (Avery) Mitchell. She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1964. For several years Yvonne was employed at American United Life Insurance Company that later became One America United Life. She was an active member of Bethel AME Church at Noblesville where she served on the Stewardess Board. She was also a member of the Missionary Society. Her family said she loved reading and studying her Bible. She also enjoyed drawing and sketching, but most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving her is a daughter: Julie Lynn (Anthony) Ayers of Noblesville, brother: Douglas (Debbie) Mitchell of Fishers, IN, sisters: Geraldine (Larry) Hampton of Noblesville, and Paula (Spencer) York of Peoria, AZ, grandchildren: Jarred, Jordan, Jamasen Ayers of Noblesville. Funeral services will be held October 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel AME Church, 17777 Little Chicago Road, Noblesville, IN 46062 with Rev. Mallory H. Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church to assist with the purchase of the new building.
