Yolanda "Yonnie" Sue Worthman

Yolanda "Yonnie" Sue Worthman, age 78, of Arcadia, IN died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Riverview Health. She was born January 5, 1938 at Cicero, IN to Floyd Edward and Madge Mardelle (Cook) Trout. She attended Jackson Central High School. She had worked as an environmental sanitation supervisor, managing housekeeping, maintenance and the laundries for the former Turtle Creek Nursing Home, Hamilton Heights Health Center, and Normal Life Center at Sheridan, IN. Yonnie, as she was fondly known was a member of the Assembly of God at Noblesville, IN. She loved to read, especially her Bible, and she loved to share her faith with others. She also enjoyed family get-togethers and took special pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married Donald Lee Worthman in 1997. He preceded her in death in July 30, 2005. In addition to her husband, her parents also preceded her in death. Surviving her are sons: Dave (Cathy) Pickett and Terry (Debbie) Pickett both of Arcadia, IN, brother: Danny Trout of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Zeb (Jennifer) Pickett, Seth (Alison) Pickett, Tara (Brent) Louks and Amy (Jason) Prater, great-grandchildren: Natalie Head, Cole Prater, Zoe Pickett, Maci Pickett, Gus Pickett, and Mason Prater. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Elder John Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Sanders Glen, 334 Cherry Street, Westfield, IN 46074.
