Wreatha Eileen Gribben

Wreatha Eileen Gribben, age 83, of Tipton, IN and formerly of Indianapolis, IN died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at North Woods Village at Kokomo, IN. She was born January 29, 1927 at Noblesville, IN to Clarence and Christiana Pearl (Smeltzer) McClintock. She married Clifford J. Gribben on May 6, 1963. He preceded her in death December of 1995. In addition to her parents and husband, a daughter: Linda Himes, a son: Larry McClintock, and a grandchild also preceded her in death. For 18 years she was the manager of the printing department of the Haag Drug Company. Wreatha and her husband also were owners of Globe TV and VCR Sales and Service at Indianapolis for several years. She was a member of Arcadia Church of the Brethren and for the last two years attended Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Tipton. She was a member of AARP #1680 Allisonville Chapter and the National Organization of AARP. Surviving her is a son and his wife: Jerry (Dixie) Small of Tipton, IN, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two brothers: Donald McClintock of Noblesville, and Norman McClintock of Elwood, and a son-in-law: Clyde Himes of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Arcadia Church of the Brethren with Pastor Cliff Kelly and Pastor Harvey McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at the Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. also at the church. Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel is entrusted with handling the arrangements.
