William Edward Teal

William Edward Teal, age 82, of Noblesville, IN died January 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital at Anderson, IN. He was born March 8, 1935 at Atlanta, IN to Oral Linton and Helen Georgia (Stover) Teal. He was a graduate of Tipton High School with the Class of 1953. He then honorably served his country in the US Navy. Ed, as he was known was a machine repairman for Delco Remy at Anderson, IN where he had worked for many years. After retirement, his children said he continued to work with his hands repairing, fixing and making things. He was a member of the Sertoma Club at Noblesville, the Tipton Masonic Lodge and the National Rifle Association. Surviving him is a daughter: Sallie Ann (Jon) Jones of Brownsburg, IN, a son: Scott Allen Teal of Noblesville, IN, brother: Jessie (Pamela) Teal of Fishers, IN, and four grandchildren: Zachary Teal, Samantha Jones, Jacob Jones and Shelby Jones. His parents and two brothers, Darrell Teal and Marvin Teal preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034, with Pastor Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
