William Thomas Frye

William Thomas Frye, age 84, of Anderson, IN died May 28, 2013 at St. John Hospital at Anderson. He was born April 15, 1929 at Cicero, IN to Frank and Nellie (Gantz) Frye.

Bill, as he was known, graduated from Jackson Central High School at Arcadia, IN. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon returning he worked at Delco Remy at Anderson for over 30 years. Bill was a member of the Anderson American Legion. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening.

Surviving him is a niece: Sheryl Tharp of Noblesville, IN and a nephew: John R. Frye of Noblesville, IN, great-nephews: Michael Kent Tharp and John D. Frye.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death be a brother: Max Frye and two sisters: Lelia Frye and Ruth Frye.

Graveside rites will occur Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Carey Cemetery north of Noblesville on State Road 37. Arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
