Wilford "Willie" E. True

Wilford "Willie" E. True, age 73, of Noblesville, IN died March 16, 2015 at his home. He was born April 29, 1941 at Anderson, IN to John and Leita (Ridgeway) True. Willie, as he was fondly known, had first worked at the Hamilton County Highway Department. He then worked for 26 years at the Indiana Department of Transportation. Willie was a mechanic by trade, and enjoyed working on cars. His family related that he had a servant's heart and loved helping others. Just one of the ways he helped others was to keep their cars running and in good condition. He also enjoyed working word search puzzles. He was a member of Cicero Christian Church. He married Barbara (Conger) True on December 26, 1968. She survives him. Also surviving is a son: Tony True of McCordsville, IN, daughters: Elizabeth "Suzie" Sperzel of Jeffersonville, IN, Joyce Caswell of Noblesville, IN Linda Neuhaus of Noblesville, IN and Beth Hendricks of Cicero, IN, brother: Paul True of Fortville, IN, sister: Betty Goen of Fortville, IN and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters: Ruth Milner, Mary Marshal and Thelma Lackey, and a brother: Charles True. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Cicero Christian Church, 1715 Stringtown Pike, Cicero, IN 46034, with Elder John Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery near Fortville, IN. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
