Vivian Ione Haworth

Vivian Ione Haworth, age 90, of Cicero, IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2015, at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN. She was born April 22, 1925 at Anderson, IN to Charles F. and Audrey M. (Goettel) Sylvester. Vivian was a homemaker whose greatest joy was being with her four grandsons. She also had worked at Aero Drapery and at Sanders Glen, both near Westfield, IN. She was a good cook, entering culinary contests at county and state fairs and usually taking home championship ribbons. She enjoyed sewing and making many types of craft items that she sold at various craft fairs. Vivian was a member of Arcadia Christian Church. Surviving her is a son; David Lee (Susie) Haworth of Arcadia, IN and a daughter; Pat (Fred) Martz of Cicero, IN, brothers: Robert Sylvester and James Sylvester both of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren; Douglas (Betty) Haworth, Kevin McKenly, Ty Martz and Shawn (Melanie) Martz, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Kenneth Haworth, sister; Alice Lewis, brother: Charles Sylvester, and two twin grandchildren: Donald and Daniel Haworth. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor J.R. Moffatt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of the services. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery at Westfield, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
