Virginia L. Gunn

Virginia L. Gunn, age 91, of Terre Haute, IN, formerly of Noblesville, IN died August 2, 2014 at Davis Gardens Health & Rehabilitation at Terre Haute, IN. She was born August 20, 1922 at Silver Springs, Arkansas to Vern and Nannie Louise (Hays) Wible. She and her family later moved to Arcadia, IN, and Virginia graduated from Arcadia High School. She was a long-time member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church at Noblesville, IN. She had worked as a business office secretary and bookkeeper for Firestone Rubber Products Company at Noblesville for 18 years, and later for Miller Surveying also of Noblesville. She married Wayne Gunn on September 7, 1940. He preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband,a sister, Marian Heathcote also preceded her in death. Surviving her is a daughter: Cathi (Steve) Shure of Farmersburg, IN and a son: Mick Gunn of Divide, CO., grandchildren: Gavin and Jason Hoggatt, and Bryan and Steven Gunn, great-grandchildren: Sara and John Hoggatt and Kira Gunn and a sister: Nancy Wible Adams of Royal, Arkansas.
