Victor Thomas "Tom" Bures

Victor Thomas "Tom" Bures, age 64, of Cicero, IN died July 6, 2010 at Riverview Hospital. He was born July 15, 1945 at Noblesville to Victor and Fredia (Kellam) Bures.

Tom was a graduate of Jackson Central High School Class of 1963. He had worked as a Hamilton County Deputy, as a sales representative for Farm Bureau Insurance at Noblesville and later for Same Day Courier Service at Carmel, IN. He also was a co-owner with his brother, Jerry of the Corner Tavern at Cicero, IN.

He was a member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge and the Sons of the American Legion at Cicero.

Survivors include his companion of several years: Nancy Kay McCrackin of Cicero, daughters: Jenny Sundling and husband Arnie of Cicero and Kim Landers and husband Aaron of Indianapolis, brothers: Bill Bures and wife Linda of Blairsville, GA, Steve Bures and wife Pat of Venice, FL, and John Bures and wife Linda of FL, sister: Mary Lou Grigsby and husband Larry of Saginaw, TX. Grandchildren surviving include Madison and Marlee Moses and Jude Landers as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a brother: Jerry Bures.

A celebration of life will be held September 24th, 2010 at the Noblesville Moose Lodge from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Arrangements are being handled by Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
