Susan Kay Benefiel

Susan Kay Benefiel, age 55, of Arcadia, IN died Thursday, September 6, 2012 at her home. She was born May 29, 1957 at Indianapolis, IN to Wayne Lee and Jo Ann (Kretzer) Terry. She was a graduate of Chatard High School and of Indiana Business College.

Susan was a caring, nurturing person and therefore greatly enjoyed her job at Med Check at Castleton, IN. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Colts and Pacers.

She was a member of Cicero Christian Church.

She was married to Fred Thomas Benefiel, Jr. who preceded her in death February 15, 2009. Her mother also preceded her in death.

Surviving her is her father: Wayne Lee Terry of Noblesville, IN, daughters: Kristen Kaye (Travis) Bloom of Arcadia, IN and Shannon Elizabeth Potter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, brothers: Thomas Terry of Indianapolis, Kenny Terry of Tipton, IN, Robert Terry of Fishers, IN and Jason Terry of Indianaolis, sister: Marianne Weaver of Seattle, WA, and step-son: Joshua Lockwood of Tipton, IN.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Tim Lueking officiating. Burial will follow at Carey Cemetery north of Noblesville, IN. Visitation will be from 4:30 until service time at 6:00 P.M.
