Stephen Elliott

Stephen Heyward Elliott, age 75, of Arcadia, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent 86th Street. Born on September 17, 1949, in Fairbanks, AK, he was the son of the late Marion Heyward and Larry Grae (Buchanan) Elliott.
On April 14, 1984, Steve married his beloved wife, Deborah Lee (Bennett) Elliott, and they shared 40 wonderful years of marriage and two children. Steve retired from CVS Pharmacy as a front-store manager.
Steve brought joy to those around him through humor, creativity, and performance. He was passionate about music, often performing at local venues like The Hedgehog and Cicero Coffee Shop as well as the State Fair. An accomplished wood sculptor and painter, his commissioned and personal works have been enjoyed by many over decades of artistic creations. In recent years, his drive for learning new materials expanded to include metal, leather, and stone pieces.
Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah Lee Elliott; son, Kris (Jen) Elliott of Carmel, IN; and daughter, Dr. Amicia (Seth) Elliott of Seattle, WA.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Hartley Funeral Home in Cicero, Indiana, with Roger Gross officiating. Visitation will take place that same day from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W Jackson Street, Cicero, IN.
