Shirley Ann Sullivan

Shirley Ann Sullivan, 78, of Cicero, IN died October 19, 2014 at her home. She was born September 19, 1936 at Crab Orchard, Kentucky to Edward Raymond and Dolly Frances (Bandy) Lane. She was a graduate of Lebanon Junction High School and the Lowes Business School, both in Kentucky. Shirley was employed as a receptionist for Dr. Thomas Elliott of Cicero, IN and for Dr. Phil Hale of Kokomo, IN. She also enjoyed her role as a homemaker. She loved to travel and was an avid reader. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Noblesville, IN. And she was a long time volunteer at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She married Joseph C. Sullivan on January 28, 1956. He survives her. Additional survivors include a son: Charles Joseph Sullivan of Carmel, IN, daughters: Theresa Ann Young of San Juan, PR, Carolyn Frances Moore of Carmel, IN, and Patricia Jo Verbrugge of Noblesville, IN, Ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth Lane and sisters: Blondell Burkhead and Ina Jean Johnston. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Derek Hansen officiating. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery.
