Shirley Adele Juriss

Shirley Adele Juriss, age 81, of Cicero, IN died May 27, 2016 at Countryside Manor at Anderson, IN. She was born January 6, 1935 at Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Frank and Frieda Amanda (Bluck) Lerner. She was a graduate of Fenger High School at Chicago, IL. She had worked in Real Estate Sales, the Illinois Bell Telephone Company and as an office manager at Balmoral Race Track. Shirley was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church at Arcadia, IN. She married John Joseph Juriss on October 4, 1958. Her husband and children described her as a wonderful wife and mother who greatly enjoyed her family. Survivors include her husband, son: John Joseph Juriss, Jr. of Grant Park , IL, daughters: Laura Ann Petrisko of Goodland, IN and Kay Marie Mares of Lapel, IN, sister; Lucille Tierney of Peotone, IL and several grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death. Services will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Arcadia, Indiana.
