Samuel R. Mohler

Samuel Reed Mohler, age 63, of Brownsburg, IN and formerly of Atlanta, IN died March 31, 2011 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN. He was born November 25, 1947 at Elwood, IN to John Reed and Patricia Ann (Cole) Mohler. His parents preceded him in death.

"Sam" as he was affectionaly known graduated from Jackson Central High School Class of 1964. He then served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and completed two tours of duty in Viet Nam. He was a machinist working at Roark Engineering at Brownsburg, IN and had also been a hunting guide in Colorado for several seasons. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving him is a son: Samuel Mohler of Shirley, Arkansas, three daughters: Aubrey M. Mohler of Manilla, IN, Shelby L. Mohler of Fountaintown, IN, and Jessie Leonard of Ft. Bragg, NC, sisters: Pauleeta A. Browning of Cicero, IN and Cynthia Jane Boettjer of Kokomo, IN, five nieces and nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
