Ruth Ann Kerfoot

Ruth Ann Kerfoot, 89, of Noblesville, IN died February 10, 2016 at her home. She was born November 18, 1926 near Arcadia, IN to Oscar and Anna (DeWeise) Zetterberg. She was one of ten children. In her early years Ruth Ann first worked at Delco Remy at Anderson, IN, then became a coder for an insurance company. Upon establishing a family she enjoyed her role as a homemaker and always enjoyed visiting with her immediate and extended family members. She was an avid bowler and member of a league at Stardust Lanes. Additionally she was a devoted fan of the Noblesville Millers athletic teams, the Colts and the Pacers. She married Ernest Leon Kerfoot on August 27, 1955 and he preceded her in death December 19, 1985. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by eight siblings. Surviving her is a daughter: Deb (Scott) P'Pool, Noblesville,sons: Michael (Debbie) Kerfoot, Noblesville, IN, and Marcus (Darlene) Kerfoot, Fishers, IN, a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Dan Kerfoot of Arcadia, IN. Ruth's grandchildren always held a special place in her heart: Katie Kerfoot, Brian, Nicole, Amelia and Adreanne Spacey, Liza, Chris and Jack Stannard and Nicole Kerfoot. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of the services.
