Roy Edgar "Ed" Baber

Roy Edgar "Ed" Baber, age 77, of Noblesville, IN died February 7, 2017 at Riverview Health at Noblesville. He was born July 29, 1939 at Hubbert, Michigan to Carl Eugene and Dorothy V. (Robbins) Baber. He attended Noblesville High School then honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Ed then became employed by Firestone Rubber Company that later became known as Firestone-Bridgestone Rubber Company where he worked for over thirty years. Ed was a member of Strawtown Comunity Church, Noblesville Moose Lodge, Noblesville American Legion and Sheridan American Legion. He formerly enjoyed camping and always looked forward to interacting with his family and friends. He married Judy Kay (Dick) Baber on August 8, 1958. She preceded him in death May 13, 2016. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Lora Ann Baber and a brother: Stanley Baber. Surviving him is a son: Duane E. Baber of Indianapolis, IN, two daughters: Lisa K. Baber of Frankfort, IN and LeiLoni (Mark) Dearinger of Anadarka, OK, brothers: Granville Baber of Arcadia, IN and Carl Baber of Noblesville, IN, and a sister: Nina Jean "Dolly" Hunter of Arcadia, IN, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include two fur babies: Bonnie and Clyde. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with Pastor Rick Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of the services.
