Ronald Lee Pryor

Ronald Lee Pryor, age 73, of Cicero, IN died September 19, 2014 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN. He was born October 24, 1940 at Somerset, KY to James Arthur and Floye Lee (Chitwood) Pryor. Ron, as he was affectionately known, was an owner of R&S Pryor Trucking of Arcadia. He and his wife owned and managed a large fleet of semi-trucks hauling freight across the United States. He was a lifetime member of the Independent Driver's Association. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his yard. His family and friends remember him as always friendly and always smiling. Ron was a member of Community Church near Tipton, IN. Surviving him are sons: Ricky Lee (Shari) Pryor of Lebanon, IN, Charles Duane (Michelle) Pryor of Daleville, IN, daughters: Beverly Ann (Joe) Burgess of Lapel, IN, and Rhonda Lynn (Joe) Cowan of Jamestown, KY, brother: David Pryor of Hudson, FL, sisters: Irene Steele of Tampa, FL, Ruth Roe of Tipton, IN, and Lois Myers of Livingston, TX, 10 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and his ex-wife: Sharon Pryor. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are brothers: Bob, Richard, Gene, and Everett Pryor and one granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor Lois Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Carey Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
