Robert H. Whitecotton

Robert H. Whitecotton, age 72, of Noblesville, IN died April 2, 2015 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. He was born August 22, 1942 at Indianapolis, IN to Virgil and Virginia (Davis) Whitecotton. He was a graduate of Warren Central High School with the Class of 1960. He then proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. Robert had worked for the Chrysler Corporation, first at Indianapolis, then at New Castle, IN. He was a member of the U.A..W. Robert loved life and had an incredible sense of humor. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing with his grandkids. He spent time with each individual grandchild, fostering a special relationship with them. He married Linda Sue (Lucas) Whitecotton on June 3, 1963. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Lacy (Jeff) McGrew of Cicero, IN, sister: Barbara Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren: Tyler (Taylor) McGrew, Evan McGrew, and Jenna McGrew, as well as several nieces and a nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Tommy Whitecotton and a sister: Betty Deckard. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Cicero Christian Church with Elder John Knapp officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the services.
