Richard Hudson Gardner

Richard Hudson Gardner, age 82, of Noblesville, IN died April 17, 2012 at the Indiana Masonic Home. He was born April 3, 1930 at St. Paul, Minnesota to George and Jane (Schrei) Gardner.

Mr. Gardner had served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Fishers, IN. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and most of all being with and interacting with his family.

He married Patrician Ann (Dickerhoff) Gardner who survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Kim Elaine Martin of Cicero, IN, three sons: Paul Donald Gardner of Indianapolis, IN, Mark William Gardner of Batesville, IN, and Jayson Ril Gardner of Franklin, IN, three sisters: Shirley of Florida, Olive of Wisconsin and Barbara of Florida, 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are two grandsons: Drew Martin and Nolan Martin, a son-in-law: Ken Martin and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Visitation
