Pia Anne Smith

Pia Anne Smith, age 48, of Arcadia, IN died October 29, 2015 at Community North Hospital. She was born September 22, 1967 at New York City, NY to Bjorn David and Anne Signe (Solberg) Skaelerud. Pia was a respiratory therapist and had worked in various hospitals in Virginia. She also was an animal lover and raised and trained German Shepherds. She loved being active and in her college years was a member of the diving team and rowing team. She enjoyed fishing and camping and was also an avid hunter. Surviving her is her fiance' and companion, Mark Trent Null, Arcadia, IN, her mother, and three children. Her father preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor J.R. Moffatt officiating.
