Phyllis Louise Moore

Phyllis Louise Moore, age 88, of Arcadia, IN died January 10, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. She was born February 23, 1926 at Arcadia, IN to Edward and Gladys (Lacy) Ross. Phyllis was a graduate of Arcadia High School and a long time member of Arcadia Christian Church and the Cicero Order of Eastern Star. She had worked over 30 years at Delco Remy at Anderson, IN. She enjoyed golfing, shopping and working all types of puzzles. She married James David Moore on July 6, 1946. He preceded her in death August 22, 2012. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Linda Lou Miessen, sister: Rosemary Robinson, and brothers: Claude, James, Jackie and Eddie Ross. Surviving her is a daughter: Brenda Jean Kline of Arcadia, IN, sister: Aileen Tudor of Cicero, IN and brother: Charles "Chuck" Ross of Cicero, IN. Additional survivors include:grandchildren: Ronald (Patti) Kline, Belinda Kline, and Darby (Tonya) Miessen, great-grandchildren: D.J. Goff, Rochelle Kline, Mylinda Kline, and Zachary Daniels, Ethan Miessen and Andrew Miessen, step-great grandchildren: Parker Lee and Peyton Levi Robinson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Scott Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery.
