Peggy Doreen Nightenhelser

Peggy Doreen Nightenhelser, age 71, of Arcadia, IN, died October 20, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. She was born June 26, 1939 at Elwood, IN to Mandron Charles and Evelyn Louise (Warfel) Thomas.

She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School Class of 1957. Peggy was a librarian for what is now known as the Hamilton North Public Library system. She also enjoyed being a homemaker. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet and travel. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Noblesville, IN.

Peggy married Jimmy Lee Nightenhelser who survives her. Also surviving her are four sons: Thomas Matthew Nightenhelser of Atlanta, IN, Boyd Elliott (Tammy) Nightenhelser of Indianapolis, IN, Stuart Blaine Nightenhelser of Fishers, IN, and Jay Francis (Kristina) Nightenhelser of Atlanta, IN, a daughter: Dina Leigh (Dennis) Kalina of Spokane, WA, sisters: Theresa Dian (John Hedges) Heiser of Hartford City, IN, and Lisa Beth (William) Pentecost of Dayton, OH, 12 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday October 25th at 10:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Rev. Mark Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at the Arcadia Cemetery.
