Norma Louise Schildmeier

Norma Louise Schildmeier, age 88, of Cicero, IN died December 28, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor at Tipton, IN. She was born August 27, 1927 at Arcadia, IN to Clarence Ray and Lewie (Groves) Eller. She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1945. Then December 29, 1945 she married Glenis Herbert Schildmeier and stepped into her role as a homemaker. She loved family gatherings and attending her grandchildren's special events. She also enjoyed making various crafts and sewing. Her daughter said she made all of her clothes during her school years. Leisure time found Norma and Glenis camping. Surviving her is a daughter; Rebecca Ann Warren of Noblesville, IN, sons; Francis E. Schildmeier of Atlanta, IN, David Ray Schildmeier of Kokomo, IN, and Mark Allen Schildmeier of Cicero, IN, 8 grnadchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. On June 12, 1994 her beloved husband passed away. In addition to her husband and her parents, Norma was preceded in death by a granddaughter, and brothers; Frank, Dale, Lester, and Everett Eller. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034, with Rev. Mark Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
