Nole K. "Tony" Carson

Nole K. "Tony" Carson, age 72, of Indianapolis, IN died April 16, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born March 20, 1940 near Arcadia, IN to Glen and Vola Edith (Reddick) Carson.

Nole graduated at Walnut Grove High School with the Class of 1958 where he served as editor of the School newspaper. He also wrote community news for the Noblesville Ledger, often riding his bicycle throughout the community to gather news.

Nole enjoyed gardening and being with his friends. He was a member of Victory Chapel Church, the Moose Lodge, and the O.S. & D. Club. He had worked at Dohrn Transfer Company at Indianapolis as a billing clerk for several years.

Survivors include two brothers: Donald E. Carson of Anderson, IN and Ronald D. Carson of Cicero, IN, a sister: Shirley Lou Manley of Indianapolis, IN, and two special friends and care givers: Edgar Marr, Jr. and Herbert E. Howell also of Indianapolis.

Preceding him in death are six brothers: Richard, Robert, William, James, Joseph and Neal Carson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Victory Chapel Church north of Noblesville, IN with Pastor Andy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the services also at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Chapel Church. Visitation
