Nancy E. Oldham

Nancy Ellen Oldham, age 72, of Noblesville, IN, died November 18, 2010 at Clarian North Hospital near Carmel, IN. She was born March 18, 1938 at Noblesville to Marcus Allen and Hazel Maxine (Cook) Taylor.

She was a graduate of Noblesville High School Class of 1956. Nancy was a secretary for the Hamilton County Drainage Board for 25 years.

She was a member of Bethel AME Church where she had taught Sunday School for several years. She also was a member of the Republican National Committee and the Hamilton County Republican Women's Club. She enjoyed reading and attending her family's sporting events.

She married Leon Edward Oldham on August 29, 1969. He survives her. Also surviving is a daughter, Kathy Murphy of Noblesville, IN,
granddaughter: Taylor Oldham of Noblesville, sister: Connie Backman of Noblesville, great-aunt Joan White of Noblesville plus several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is a brother: Harry "Bud" Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:00 noon at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with visitation from 10:00 A.M. to the time of the services at noon. Rev. Mallory Terrance and Rev. Shad Hill will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery at Noblesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation c/o Hartley Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 407, Cicero, IN 46034.
