Mona Lee Webb

Mona Lee Webb, age 78, of Tipton, IN died March 28, 2012 at Riverview Hospital. She was born April 5, 1933 at Anderson, IN to Vernace Paul and Marcella Amelia (Hughes) Hurst.

Mona was a homemaker while also working at American United Life and Indianapolis Life Insurance Companies at Indianapolis, IN. As a homemaker she gardened and canned and froze the vegetables she grew. Her family appreicated her culinary skills. She also was a good seamstress and made many of her family's clothes. In her limited spare time she was an avid reader.

She married Carl Jackson Webb on August 13, 1949. He preceded her in death October 18, 1983. Surviving her is one son: Jeffrey P. Webb of Arcadia, IN, two daughters: Carlene Wayman of Shelbyville, IN and Debra Kay Kerfoot of Sheridan, IN, a brother: William T. Hurst of Tipton, IN and a sister: Helen M. Hancock of Tipton, IN, grandchildren: Eric Webb, Jennifer Grant, Corey Webb, Jason Webb, Bradley Webb, Leslie Hernandez, Tricia Vail, Jerod Kerfoot, and Crystal Webb.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband is a son: David N. Webb.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Arcadia Chapel. Burial will follow at the Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Visitation
