Mary Ann Morris

Mary Ann Morris, age 77, of Cicero, IN died January 8, 2014 at her home. She was born July 20, 1936 at Ben Hur, Virginia to Ulysses and Lillie Victoria (Witt) Sexton. Mary Ann was a home health care provider operating Mary Ann's Home Care for many years at her home near Cicero, IN. She would take ladies in need of care into her home and lovingly care for them until they were able to return to their homes or they would pass away. Most would become family to her. Mary Ann married Larry Gene Morris who assisted her with her home care business and later when he started a business called Larry's Porkies she was very involved in assisting him. They prepared, packaged and distributed snacks in the midwest area. She was a member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge. In addition to her husband she is survived by sisters: Doris Woodard and Peggy Edgar, both of St. Charles, VA and Barbara Sexton of Cicero, IN, brothers: Jack Stewart and Lester Sexton, both of Baltimore, MD, Jerry Sexton of Peidmont, OK, and David Sexton of Eastbend, NC, special nephew: James Carter and his daughter Emily Ann of Atlanta, IN, an aunt: Lulavean Cloud of Pennington Gap, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a nephew: Randall Edgar and a niece: Cathy Woodard. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel on Monday, January 13, 2014. She will then be transported to Providence Funeral Home at Pennington Gap, VA for services there. Burial will occur at Miller's Chapel Cemetery near Ben Hur, VA.
