Mary Frances Maddox

Mary Frances Maddox, age 86, of Cicero, IN died February 10, 2013 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born February 6, 1927 at Tipton, IN to William Jefferson and Bertha (Townsend) Rayl.

She was a graduate of Prairie Township High School with the Class of 1945. Mary Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, playing euchre and hand &foot card games and had researched the genealogy of her family for over sixty years.

She was the widow of Garland Maddox whom she married September 26, 1946. He preceded her in death December 28, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers.

Surviving her are two sons: Shawn Maddox of Pine Island, FL and Clee Maddox of Tipton, IN, a daughter: Tish Milea Sperry of Westfield, IN and the following grandchildren: Zach, Logan, Milea, Sabrin and Shaunna Maddox, Parker Shaw, and Rhiley and Nora Sperry.

Graveside Rites will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery near Groomsville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to her favorite charity, Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090-6231.
