Mary Helen (Robinson) Cain

Mary Helen Cain, age 89, of Cicero, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born in Kansas City on October 4, 1934, to the late John and Vivian (Robeson) Robinson.

On January 8, 1956, she married James Cain and they shared a wonderful marriage.
Mary attended Indiana Academy High School and graduated in 1952. She then went to Purdue University to obtain an associate's degree in nursing. Mary loved being a nurse and had an extensive career working at Riverview Hospital, Community North Hospital, and Humana. She was an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Cicero. Mary volunteered her ministry in several different capacities including prison ministry and missionary work. Mary was a very family-centered mother and remained a throughout her entire life. One of her favorite things to do was to host family dinners for everyone to gather and enjoy.
Mary is survived by her Daughter, Robbin (Michael) Dellen of Fishers, IN; Son, Jack (Carmen) Cain of Noblesville, IN; Daughter, Brenda (Lloyd) Draper of Chattanooga, TN; Daughter, Lynnette (Coco Chanel) Cain of Cicero, IN; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Dellen, Alicia Dellen, Matthew Dellen, Geoffry Cain, Brandon (Diana) Cain, Heather Cain, Alyssa Cain, Josh (Erica) Dover; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, James Cain; and Sister, Evelyn Carter.

A graveside service took place on September 6, 2024, at 6 pm at Cicero Cemetery.
