Mary Evelyn Brooks

Mary Evelyn Brooks, age 85, of Noblesville, IN died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Riverwalk Village. She was born November 17, 1925 at Charlotte, Arkansas to Joe and Gladys (Jones) Ball.

She was employed at Brockway Glass Company at Lapel, IN for many years. She was a member of Victory Chapel Community Church north of Noblesville, IN.

She married Clyde Brooks on November 16, 1944. He preceded her in death October 7, 1978.

Surviving her is a daughter and her husband: Brenda Joyce (Michael) McCullough of Cicero, IN, and a son: Lloyd Brooks of Indianapolis, IN, a brother: George Ball of Rosie, Arkansas, four sisters: Nellie Western of Southside, Arkansas, Effie Tinkle of Salado, Arkansas, Lenora Chadwick of Charlotte, Arkansas and Rachel Brooks of Rockford, Illinois, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Andrew Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the services. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Maple Springs Cemetery at Rosie, Arkansas.
