Martin Thomas Farren

Martin Thomas Farren, age 74, passed away February 3, 2022 at his home in Carmel, Indiana.
He was born September 7, 1947 at Cleveland, Ohio to Martin Michael and Anna (Bunk) Farren. His parents preceded him in death.
After completing high school and taking some college courses, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and honorably served his country during the late 1960's.
Martin then worked for over 20 years for Bowmar Instrument Corporation, an aerospace company as a quality control specialist.
He married Linda Carol (Weikel) Farren on June 28, 2000 who survives him. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He greatly enjoyed family gatherings, especially being with his grandchildren. He rarely missed an opportunity to share the things they were doing with others. He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, good cigars, bonfires and fishing. He had great memories of fishing trips to Canada with his family and friends. He was a outdoors man, for sure.
Also surviving is a daughter: Tiffany (Aaron) Lawrence of Kalamazoo, MI, son: Michael Farren of Las Vegas, NV, step-sons: Craig Thiele and Kevin (Sarah) Thiele, step-daughter: Nicole (Phil) Grove, sisters: Brenda Embrescia, Louise Mediate and Elaine Kovach; brother John Farren, plus grandchildren: Miles, Ava, Maya, Chase, Maddy, Carson, and Luke.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with a time of visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of the services.
