Martha Jean Cordle

Martha Jean Cordle, age 79, of Noblesville and formerly of Cicero, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville. She was born November 20, 1930 at Indianapolis to George and Esther (Rice) Melick, Sr.

She was a key punch operator at Best Lock Corporation for twenty years. Martha was a member of United Family Wesleyan Church at Cicero, IN.

Surviving her are her daughters: Mary Wesch of Maryland, Jenny Bradford, of Arcadia, Carol McFarland of Arcadia, Janet Gross of Cicero, and Sandra Estes of Arcadia. brothers: George Melick and Roger Melick both of Indianapolis, sisters: Mary Powers and Sharon Melick of Indianapolis and Alice Messersmith of Noblesville, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is a son: Charles Cordle, granddaughter: Autumn Gross, a great-granddaughter: Carmon Huffman, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at United Family Wesleyan Church, 210 Washington Avenue, Cicero, IN with Pastor Wayne Lyon officiating. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at the Church.
