Malcolm Eugene Mosbaugh

Malcolm Eugene Mosbaugh, age 94, of Arcadia, IN died April 30, 2014 at Maple Park Village at Westfield, IN. He was born March 17, 1920 near Cicero, IN to Omer Elmore and Martha Mary (Moore) Mosbaugh. He was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School with the Class of 1939. Malcolm had played softball in High School, then played for several years on a semi-pro team. He was a life-long farmer and had drove a school bus for Walnut Grove School and later at Hamilton Heights School Corporation. He also served on the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department. He married Patricia Ann (Fay) Mosbaugh on February 18, 1949. She survives him. Also surviving are two sons: Thomas E. (Kathy) Mosbaugh of Cicero, IN and Jeffrey L. (Delilah) Mosbaugh of Noblesville, IN, a brother: Larry Mosbaugh of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Nicole VanSchouwen, Aaron Mosbaugh, Ryan Mosbaugh, Nicole Newton, and Chad Mosbaugh, great-grandchildren: Angela and Hannah VanSchouwen, and Nilah Arvin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Bette Wilson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M until service time at 1:00 P.M.
