Lori K Cowan-Smith

Lori K. Cowan-Smith, age 53, of Fishers, IN died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Carmel Health & Living Center. She was born July 15, 1957 at Noblesville, IN to J.R. and Nancy (Cusick) Cowan of Cicero, IN.

Lori was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School Class of 1975 and also of Indiana Wesleyan College where she earned a BS Degree in Business Administration. She had been employed for several years at Roche Diagnostics at Fishers, IN. She was a member of Cicero Christian Church. Lori was fond of animals, especially her dog, Samantha. She greatly enjoyed interacting with her niece and nephews.

Lori married Rick Smith on July 28, 2005. He survives her. In addition to her parents she is survived by three brothers and their spouses: D.J. Cowan (Terri) of Cicero, IN, Mark Cowan (Victoria) of Fishers, IN, and Toby Cowan (Christine) of Arcadia, IN, step-son: Geoffrey Smith, step-daughter: Heather Dorsey, niece: Olivia Cowan, nephews: Joshua, Eli, and Jake Cowan, and Christopher Davey.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Tim Lueking officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the services. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
