Linda Lou Miessen

Linda Lou Miessen, age 66, of Cicero, IN died January 6, 2014 due to a fire at her home. She was born June 4, 1947 at Noblesville, IN to James David and Phyllis (Ross) Moore. She was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1965 then attended Ball State University. Linda had worked as a secretary for a group of doctors at an endocrinology office at Indianapolis for several years, then worked for Dr. Myers at Noblesville, IN and lastly for Hunter Insurance Agency at Arcadia, IN. Currently she was employed at Kohl's at Noblesville. She was a member of Arcadia Christian Church and Cicero Order of Eastern Star where she was a past worthy matron. Linda was a past member of Jobs Daughters Bethel #65 at Arcadia and Cicero and had been an honored queen. She then had served as a Guardian. She is survived by a son: Darby Alan (fiance Tonya Lynette McCullough) Miessen of Noblesville, IN, her mother: Phyllis Moore of Arcadia, IN, a sister: Brenda Kline of Arcadia, IN, grandchildren: Ethan Miessen and Andrew Miessen. She was preceded in death by her father: James David Moore. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Scott Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 prior to the services.
