Leonard S. Miller

Leonard S. Miller, age 59, of Arcadia, IN died December 10, 2013 at his home. He was born March 18, 1954 at Frankfort, IN to Ronald and Rosemary (Leonard) Miller. He was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1972 and attended Ball State University. Leonard was a life-long farmer learning to love and care for the land from his grandfather Leonard. His family was established in their family farms in the 1930's and had received the Hoosier Homestead Award several years ago. His love of farming was only surpassed by his love of family and of his faithful canine companion, Margie. He was a member of Omega Christian Church. Leonard married Linda Lou (Galloway) Miller on June 22, 1975. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2001. Surviving him are his parents, Ronald and Rosemary Miller of Atlanta, IN, two sons: Jeremy (Sandi) Miller of Atlanta, IN and Joseph (Anna) Miller of Atlanta, IN, sisters: Rosann (Art) Johnson of Fishers, IN and Sharon (Steve) Mielke of Oldsmar, FL, grandchildren: Dustin Parker, Katie Miller, Ellie Miller, and Ethan Miller. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Cicero Christian Church. Private funeral services and graveside rites will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County or the Wounded Warrior Project.
