Leon Edward Oldham

Leon Edward Oldham, age 86, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 surrounded by his daughter and his grandchildren. He was born June 1, 1937 to Shirley and Naomi (Hampton) Oldham.
He grew up in Noblesville, Indiana and attended Noblesville Schools. He graduated from Noblesville High School with the Class of 1955.
Leon Married Nancy Ellen (Taylor) Oldham on August 29, 1969 and they were blessed with a daughter, Kathy (Oldham) Murphy.
Leon worked many years for the Hamilton County Highway Department before he retired.
Leisure time would find him golfing and going to casinos, but mostly he enjoyed being with his family and hearing about his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter: Kathy Murphy, his granddaughter: Taylor (Steven) Latre, great-grandchildren:Kasssidy, Jessie and Imilia "Mia" Latre, sister: Nancy N. Allen of Milwaukee, WI, also his special nieces: Katrina Jo (Alfred) Penn, Michelle Purdue, Nancy (Jeff) Ledford, Shanita (Derrick) Washington, and many great nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ellen Oldham, siblings: Willie Glenn Oldham, and Shirlene (Oldham) Perdue.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to "Leon's Break Bread Fund" at Ginger's Care, 1111 South 10th Street, Noblesville, Indiana, 46060.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 12 Noon at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with burial to follow at Crownland Cemetery.
