Leatrice Ruth Winger

Leatrice Ruth Winger, age 82, of Noblesville, IN, died July 26, 2013 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born December 9, 1930 at Ft. Wayne, IN to Fredrick Allen and Frances Ruth (McLaughlin) Sollberger. Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Wolcott High School with the Class of 1948 and then attended Ft. Wayne Business College.

She married Harold Winger in 1949 and together they owned Community Fertilizer Sales at Wolcott, IN. Leatrice was a member of the United Methodist Church at Wolcott and a charter member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority that was established in 1954. She was a fan of NASCAR races and enjoyed watching football and basketball games. She also liked playing euchre and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving her are two daughters: Pamela Sue Burns of Lafayette, IN and Sandra Kay Higginbotham of Noblesville, IN, a son: Robert Allen Winger of Illinois, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in the chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 West 350 North, West Lafayette, IN on August 5th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in their cemetery also. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers.
