Larry Lamar Zirkle

Larry Lamar Zirkle, age 78, of Cicero, IN, passed away September 30, 2016 at Kindred North Indianapolis Hospital. He was born April 4, 1938 at Middletown, IN to Wade Wilson and Fanny Annette (Hicks) Zirkle. He had worked for many years at Prime Battery Company at Anderson, IN and later at Precedent Company at Indianapolis, IN. He was an active member of Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed gardening, singing and oil painting. He was a very social person and loved interacting with his family, friends and church members. He married Joyce Evelyn (Beatty) Zirkle on April 18, 1959. She preceded him in death February 14, 2013. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a sister: Ramona Myers. Survivors include sons: Stacy (Kimberly) Zirkle of Noblesville, IN, Robert (Linda) Zirkle of Noblesville, IN and Richard (Dana) Zirkle of Atlanta, IN, Daughters: Darla (Thomas) Riotto of Enumclaw, WA, and Denita (Rodney) Johnson of Ingalls, IN, brothers: Fred (Linda) Zirkle of Tipton, IN. sisters: Loretta Slayton of Cicero, IN, JoAnn (Dr. Phil) Hutchins of Kennawick, WA and Donna (Scott) Griesel of Windfall, IN, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren plus many nieces and nephews. Memorial services are planned for November 18, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Vic VanSchaik officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mechanicsburg Cemetery near Mechanicsburg, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Food Bank, 1605 North 10th Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.
