Kenneth Ray & Drew Thomas Martin

Kenneth Ray Martin, age 55, of Cicero, IN died June 7, 2011 at Community North Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born June 10, 1955 at Wiesbaden, Germany to Gerald Lee and Anne Mary (Wilkinson) Martin.

He was a graduate of South Western High School at Lafayette, IN and the received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University. Ken was a self employed computer consultant programmer and had worked primarily for Co-operative Managed Care Services at Indianapolis. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Fishers, IN. He was an Eagle Scout and later served as a Scout Master for many years. He had received the Wood Badge and Order of the Arrow designation. He enjoyed camping and hiking.

He married Kim Elaine (Gardner) Martin and their family grew to include five children of which three survive him: Brandon Martin of Seattle, WA, Lee Martin of Cicero, IN, and Andrea Rachel Martin of Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving him is his mother: Anne Mary Martin of Ft. Myers, FL, a brother: Keith Martin of Wausau, WI, and a sister: Susan Morris of Ft. Myers, FL.

Those who preceded him in death include his father: Gerald Lee Martin, sons: Nolan Martin and Drew Martin who passed away May 18, 2011.

Memorial services for Kenneth and Drew Martin will be held Monday, June13, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 777 Sunblest Boulevard, Fishers, IN. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel. Graveside rites for Kenneth will follow at 3:30 P.M. at Cicero Cemetery.
