Keith Eugene Cruzan

Keith Eugene Cruzan, age 88, of Cicero, IN, died October 8, 2012 at his home. He was born December 17, 1923 at Cicero, IN to Emil and Mildred (Gerber) Cruzan.

He was a graduate of Cicero High School with the Class of 1942. Then February 10, 1943 he was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a participant during WW II in the wars in the Phillipines and the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was honorably discharged on February 9, 1946.

Keith then worked for many years at Delco Remy at Anderson, IN. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Noblesville and the Hamilton County Farm Bureau. He had been treasurer of the Cicero Cub Scouts while his sons were involved. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling. He married Aileen (Moore) Cruzan on July 12, 1947 and together they had traveled the entire 50 states. She survives him.

Also surviving him is a daughter: Kathy Lynn (Ronald) Roler of Kokomo, IN, two sons: Kevin Lee Cruzan of Noblesville, IN and Kim Alan (Jill) Cruzan of Noblesville, IN, a sister: Virginia Dyer of Spencer, IN, grandchildren: Justin and Jordan Cruzan, Sarah Harris, Shawn and Pete Campbell, Crystal Webb, Kristen Henjum and Lauren Rawlings, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a brother: William Cruzan and a sister: Pauline Nightenhelser.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
