Kathleen "Kathy" Juanita Juanita Utz

Kathleen "Kathy" Juanita Utz, age 81, of Cicero, IN died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Kindred Indianapolis North Hospital. She was born July 16, 1935 at Cicero, IN to Harvey Franklin and Eva Catherine (Dewey) Rode. Kathy, as she was known, was a graduate of Noblesville High School with the Class of 1953. She was an active and faithful member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Noblesville. She married Paul Frederick Utz, Jr. on May 31, 1957. He preceded her in death May 31, 2002. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Harvey Rode and a sister: Dortha Ellen Harris. Surviving her are two sons: Matthew Frederick Utz of Rochester, NY and John Henry Utz of Cicero, IN, a brother: John David Rode of Martinsville, IN, and sisters: Anna Marie Gerber of Anderson, IN, Mary Frances Johnson of Sheridan, IN and Ruth Esther Zimmerman of Milford, IN. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN 46060. Pastor Douglas Gast will officiate. Burial will occur at Cicero Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.
