Juanita Crail

Juanita Crail, age 85, of Arcadia, IN, died September 23, 2015 at her home. She was born May 12, 1930 at Cicero, IN to Michael and Amanda Evelyn (Burris) Herron. She had first worked as a telephone operator for Indiana Bell. She then became a CNA while working at Sigler's Nursing Home and later a QMA working at Hamilton Heights Health Center, both located at Arcadia, IN. She was a member of the United Family Wesleyan Church at Cicero, IN. She married Junior Raymond Crail who preceded her in death in 1995. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Raymond Crail, Jr., granddaughter: Christina Ann Crail, brother: Sonny Ray Newton, sisters: Betty Wolverton, Mary Alice Nelson and Barbara Jean Newton. Surviving her are daughters: Judy Ann Crail, Arcadia, IN and Sherry Lynn Crail, Arcadia, IN, grandchildren: Jessica Crail and Matthew Crail, great-grandchildren Oliver and Eli Crail. Additional survivors include sisters: Leona Mae Bess, Patty Green, Norma Jean Eascal, Shirley Barnes, Phyllis Smith, Janice Simmons and Pamela Baldwin. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034. Burial will occur at a later date at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of the services.
