Joyce Evelyn Zirkle

Joyce Evelyn Zirkle, age 75, of Cicero, IN died February 14, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 9, 1937 at Lawndale, CA to Robert Ebbon and Maude Mary (Morelock) Beatty.

She was a graduate of Indiana Academy with the Class of 1955. Joyce was artistic and gifted as a musician. She read music and also played piano and organ by ear. She enjoyed singing and listening to music. She is a member of Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Her family described her as a sweet, tender-hearted lady, a kind, faithful friend and wife and a beloved mother.

She married Francis Lamar "Larry" Zirkle on April 18, 1959. He survives her. Also surviving are three sons: Stacy K. (Kimberly) Zirkle of Noblesville, IN,, Robert S. (Linda M.) Zirkle of Noblesville, IN and Richard D. (Dana) Zirkle of Atlanta, IN, daughters: Darla K. (Tom) Riotto of Enumclaw, WA, and Denita L. (Rodney) Johnson of Indiana, a sister: Lois (Dr. Marvin) Montgomery of Modesto, CA, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Lila Churchill and a brother: Robert Beatty.

Memorial services will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Cicero Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Ron Kelly officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
