John Paul Spencer

John Paul Spencer, age 76, of Cicero, IN, died Tuesday December 4, 2012 at I.U. Hospital Tipton. He was born May 28, 1936 at Indianapolis, IN to Paul and Helen Ruth (White) Spencer.

He had served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1957. He then worked at Lehigh Maintenance doing circuit breaker repair at Mentone, IN. Lastly he worked at Pinnacle Land Title at Noblesville, IN as a title searcher.

He was a member of Cicero Christian Church and the Tipton American Legion.

He married Donna Belle (Ellis) Spencer on February 26, 1966. She survives him. Also surviving are sons: Brian (fiance- Carol) Spencer of Cicero, IN, Kevin Spencer of Tipton, IN, Larry (Karen) Umberger of Mocksville, NC, Mark (Kathy) Spencer of Westfield, IN and Paul (Leslie) Spencer of Indianapolis, IN, daughters: Brenda (Kurt) King of Cicero, IN, Kim (Russ) Milkey of Arcadia, IN, Twila Smith of Rochester, IN and Janet (Greg) Murray of Port St. Lucia, FL, a daughter-in-law: Nancy Spencer (Robb) Webb, 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a son: Jeffrey Spencer, a brother: Lynn Spencer, a son-in-law: Gary Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Elder John Knapp officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery.
