Joe Phillip Voss

Joe Phillip Voss, age 92, of Noblesville, IN died June 11, 2014 at Riverview Hospital. He was born November 29,1921 at Noblesville, IN to Floyd and Elsa (Farlow) Voss. He was a graduate of Cicero High School with the Class of 1939. He then served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. His career in the rubber industry and automotive industry spanned the years 1939 to 1989. He was in plant management at Firestone Rubber Products Company at Noblesville and the H.K. Porter Company at Huntington, IN. Joe was a member of the Huntington Christian Church, 50 year member of Noblesville Masonic Lodge, Murat Shrine, Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Huntington Moose Lodge, Cicero American Legion, Tipton Elks Club and the Huntington VFW. He married Dixanna (Knotts) Voss who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his parents, sister: Evelyn Zimmerman and brother Thomas Voss. Surviving him is a daughter: Toni (Steven) Dickover of Noblesville, IN, sister: Phyllis Leiendecker of Cicero, IN, grandchildren: Chris and Brian Dickover, great-grandchildren: Dylan, Jagger and Delilah Dickover, Michael Muir, great-great grandchildren: Asher Coons, Mason Coltin and Jewel Muir. Graveside rites will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Cicero Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Homes where you may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
