Jerry Lee Mcdonald

Jerry Lee McDonald, age 77, of Noblesville, IN died September 24, 2012 at Riverview Hospital. He was born June 30, 1935 at Anderson, IN to William Herschel and Thelma Ruth (Bowers) McDonald. They preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School with the Class of 1953. Jerry then served his country in the Indiana National Guard from 1957 to 1962.

He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church at Arcadia, IN where he served, on the Church Board, as vice superintendent of the Sunday School Board and as a trustee of the Church.
He served on the Wayne Township Board of Trustees, Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation Board and the Hamilton County 4-H Council for several years. He also was a member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years, holding various ranks. He was a 4-H leader for 50 plus years, served on the Hamilton Southeastern Holding Corporation, and was a charter member of the Wayne-Fall Lions Club.

He married Phyllis Marie (Kakasuleff) McDonald on July 6, 1958. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter: Annette Marie (Billy) Richards of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren: Justin Lee McDonald, Melissa Marie Heaton, Terell Richards, Joeseph Richards,
and Monica Annmarie Richards, great grandchildren: Karson Bo Richards and Lyla Quinn Mc Donald.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church at Arcadia, IN with Pastor James Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel.
