James William Ridge

James William Ridge, age 65, of Cicero and Arcadia, IN died October 12, 2017 at his home. He was born March 6, 1952 at Lebanon, IN to James Dale and Virginia Lucille (Garrett) Ridge. He was a graduate of Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1971. He then worked as a sales clerk at Clark Oil Company followed by working in maintenance for Noblesville School Corporation. Lastly he was employed at the Kroger Grocery Store at Noblesville, IN. Suffering from arthritis, and no longer able to work, he enjoyed interacting with friends and acquaintances at local restaurants. An honest, good-hearted soul, he often helped others as his health and limited income would allow. He is survived by a brother: Eddy Dale Ridge of Anderson, IN, nephews: Joshua, Daniel, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Brandon Ridge, great nephews: Skylyn, Lillian, Braydon, Sophia and Emily Ridge. IN addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Nellie Katherine Ridge. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034 with visitation from noon until time of the services.
