James D. Love

James D. Love of McLean, Virginia passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011. He was born February 11, 1932 to Fred and Letha Craven Love who preceded him in death.

James served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. He then became employed at the Hughes Aircraft Company retiring after 38 years of service.

He married Marietta (Essig) Love on November 22, 1956. She survives him. Also surviving is a daughter and her husband: Susan (Steve) Baker of Vienna, Virginia, three grandsons: David, Ross, and Grant Baker, two brothers: Carl and Gary Love, and two sisters: Jolene Parnell and Norma Butler.

A memorial service was held at the National Presbyterian Church at Washington, D.C. on April 16, 2011. Graveside services will be held at the Arcadia Cemetery on May 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Chaplain John Hook officiating. An honor guard from the Cicero American Legion will provide military rites.
