Howard E. Upchurch

Howard E. Upchurch, 84, of Noblesville, IN died November 7, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospice at Indianapolis, IN. He was born June 22, 1927 at Zebulon, NC. to Otha and Annie (Freeman) Upchurch. His parents preceded him in death. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He then worked in quality control at RCA at Indianapolis. After retiring from RCA he then worked in sales at Tom Wood Car Dealership.

He was a member of the Noblesville American Legion, Hamilton County Ship #29, and ASPCA. His love for animals led him to help the North Shore Animal Shelter as well as other shelters.

He is survived by his wife, Aloha (Allen) Upchurch, two sons, one daughter, one brother, one half-brother, one sister, four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Visitation
